“This small boutique hotel has rooms right on the Douro River. The view was amazing! Located in the historic old town, it was convenient to walk everywhere. The room and bathroom were large and roomy, and the bed and linens were comfortable. Breakfast included was very good, with many fresh fruits, breads, and eggs to order.”

“My husband, kids (ages 9 and 11) and I stayed in this lovely apartment for about a week during Christmas 2024 and we absolutely loved it. It was very walkable to the main areas of Cascais, coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store, and train station (the ride to Lisbon is about 40 min). “Wir verbrachten eine tolle Woche im authentischen und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus von Sam und Richard. Die beiden sind die perfekten Gastgeber und immer für einen da, wenn man etwas braucht. Eine spezielle Erwähnung verdient das überaus reichhaltige Willkommens-Präsent mit frischen lokalen Spezialitäten - daher ist es besser, wenn man eigene Einkäufe erst nach Ankunft tätigt ;). “Hotel staff were super friendly. We had breakfast included in ours, it was a simple meal but definitely filling. It was an interesting room layout for our hotel. I was pleasently suprised how quiet our rooms were for hearing any noise. I stayed over new years and you could not hear any parties going on in the streets, as well the hotel staff gifted us a bottle of wine to celebrate the new year with. ”
