"The hotel was immaculate throughout including the public areas . Check in was friendly and helpful and the food was of a very high standard The location of the hotel next tot the lake and ferry terminal was ideal "

"We stayed overnight as we were at wedding being held there. The wedding started at 3pm, we asked if we could check in early so we could get ready before the wedding so we didn't get our clothes creased during the hour drive to the hotel. We had to pay an extra £25 to get checked in at 1pm. The amount we paid for the room and the amount my friend paid for her daughters wedding i was shocked at how much was charged. However, the room was lovely, we equiped and very comfortable bed. We thoroughly enjoyed the wedding and our stay"

"Really lovely place to stay, lodge had all basic necessities (plus more) and was relatively clean, I would definitely come back again for the price we paid it was an absolute bargain, reception staff were very friendly also and checking in was straightforward! "

"We’ve just returned from celebrating my birthday weekend and we've had the best time ever. We truly did feel like a King and Queen for the weekend! All the staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with the best views of Lake Windermere 😍 Thank you for an amazing stay Love from The Parr’s xx Just want to add we’ve been coming to Bowness for around 15 years to celebrate my birthday weekend but this was the first time staying at Belsfield as it’s also our 20th year of being Married (August). We have always admired it from afar and have stayed in surrounding accommodations but this weekend has blown all the accommodations out of the water. We have had the best weekend ever. "Beautiful stay. Great location, beds comfy and breakfast is great. All the staff are really nice and hard working too. Only downside is the noise from other guests either walking around their rooms, banging doors or snoring next door. "

Room was spacious with excellent bathroom and shower Used to go to local old laundry theatre which was. very close walking distance. Nice local restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Very nice hotel. If returning to the area we would use again. "
