“Perfect! Quirky, older, comfortable style. I had a room on the front - spacious, good bed linen, sparkling water and shortbread etc. Good shower (over bath). No noise from road overnight. Very cosy bar area where I ate and superb food. Can see why this would be a great place to dine in summer. I didn’t make breakfast as chose to have a lie in before heading to the office but I’ve seen it’s good ”

“Hotel is set on a 650 acre plot with beautiful scenery hensol lake amd hensol castle and golf course. The hotel is clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. I had to move from my initial room as it was not up to a standard youd expect from a hotel of this calibre. The rooms are abot dated and could definitely do with a refresh and upgrade”

“A lovely place to stay! Our cottage was perfect, good size and beautifully decorated. Such a peaceful place, easy to get into Cardiff centre. My daughter left her teddy behind and the staff were so helpful, they packaged him up ready for a courier to collect and let me know when he was collected. ”

“I booked this hotel at very short notice, due to visiting the area as a surprise to see my daughter. On arrival the whole building was spotless, and after a short wait, I was greeted by the proprietor. The gentleman was extremely professional, happy, polite and gave the warmest of welcomes to his establishment. He promptly booked me in and escorted me to my room.
