"The house was as described. Cute as could be. We didn't use the amenities of the kitchen but it had cookware and plates etc. All set up very nice. I did struggle with the front door lock coming in and going out but my husband was able to work it. AS we were there for a wedding if the main bedroom, which had great closet space - had a higher bar for the clothes that would have made it nicer. But the host did say if we needed anything to let him know and he was always responsive. So no complaints...

"My husband and I plus our two tiny Chihuahua’s found this home to have lots of space, a fenced in back yard, cozy beds and a nice size kitchen. The neighborhood was very safe. We stayed two nights and it was the perfect spot. Really appreciated the laundry room. To top it off we had access to the garage which so convenient. We will stay again if we are in the area. "

"Driftwood Retreat and Ranch was exactly as advertised and our big family very much enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. The property has an "out in the country" feel even though it is only a half-hour or so outside of Austin. The separate buildings offered privacy for family units of varying sizes. "The property as a whole was very good. However, there were several concerns: Hot tub was NOT sanitary and unable to be used, there was not bar soap for bathroom use, light bulbs in the bedroom did not work, welcome mat was not available to wipe feet because it was left in the rain. Consideration should be made to make the stairs safe by adding grip strips to keep from slipping when wet."
