Additionally, service of Paul and others during my stay makes it highly recommended. Again this is an old manor, so expect few glitches with doors etc. But very comfortable bed and cozy atmosphere. "Stunning view and absolutely beautiful property. It’s so clean and great condition, you feel like royalty. The view from inside the room is so eloquently designed. The breakfast is crafted for everyone, delicate pastries with all types of fruit and cheese. The beach is just a walk. There is a hill down to the beach so if you cannot walk easily, may need to drive a bit for better access. The location isn’t crowded at all so it never felt busy even with more guests. The marina is a 10 min drive away "

"We had a wonderful stay here. Even though it was pouring rain the whole time, we loved all the amenities that were offered at Penha Longa. The staff were incredibly helpful and very kind. Every single one we came in contact with. The indoor pool and spa facilities were amazing! The beautiful chocolate were so special and we bought lots to take home. Our Junior Suite was comfortable and the room service was quick and very good for the kids. We loved our stay and would have loved to stay much longer. Great hotel! "
