"This was a great property located at the halfway point of the island so easy to explore either side. Close to a lovely beach and easy sea bathing with lots of shops too. The roads are steep but then they are anywhere in Madeira. Certainly a good workout if you decide to go walking on the numerous paths."

"The stay was good but with some remarks: - some fourniture is outdated (chairs in kitchen and sofa ouside are worn out) - very bad smell in the washing room - you need a car for visiting the city (more than 30 minutes of walk) all issues and problems were solved quickly by the support and service team - very good communication"

"We absolutely loved our stay in the villa! Most beautiful grounds and pool. We really enjoyed dining outside and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need. "The property is stunning beautiful gardens spacious bedrooms with lovely bedding n towels. Well equipped kitchen plenty of fridge n freezer space. Lovely outdoor eating areas for all 18 of us. "Thirteen friends on a early summer holiday to Portugal, what an experience. The villa is situated in the heart of Budens, easily accessible from Faro airport (<1 hour drive). There are many lovely beaches on the south and west coast, and Lagos or Sagres are no more than 20onutes drive away. We had some great hikes, runs, beach days, pool days and BBQs and would recommend the villa to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, timely in replying and had some great food recommendations. "Miriam’s home couldn’t be more beautiful. Had everything you could want and more. Only drawback is that it is a bit of a drive to many of the Algarve towns and Altura, while charming and cute, did not offer much to do. This is not a complaint, just something to consider if you are looking for more liveliness. Mirian was wonderful and very accommodating. Had a food delivery first day which is good idea although rest of time we shopped at a Lidl which was much cheaper and only 3km away. "We stayed for a few days in the middle of our vacation to relax and Celine's home was perfect! The pictures of her home in VRBO are beautiful and aren't smoke and mirrors. What the pictures didn't show is the tranquility and the smells of the floral trees and overall peace and quiet. I would come back again and again. "Nice hotel and nice room. I wasn’t crazy about the bathroom configuration (toilet was closed off with just a frosted glass door), but it was efficient and made sense for a busy airport hotel. We were there for one night before our plane left the next morning, so it was extremely convenient. Almost no airport noise, so no problem sleeping (despite the extremely firm mattress). Technically, you could walk to the airport (about a 10 minute walk), but with luggage, it’s easier to take the shuttle which stops just outside the front door of the hotel every 10 minutes or so. Absolutely wonderful buffet breakfast. Best I’ve ever had. "

"I travelled with my husband and 3 grown sons. The hotel has a very unique "industrial/ bohemian" style that was very eco-friendly, and really interesting and quite refreshing -- the furniture and overall design was very different from typical hotels. The terrace had a bar, outdoor pool, seating areas and a ping pong table that the entire family enjoyed. The hotel was reasonably quiet, so we had free access to this space. The food and service at the Mojjo restaurant adjacent to the hotel was very good. Prices were reasonable. Dinner was very good, but breakfast was ok as the hot foods served at the buffet did not stay hot. It was nice to have free coffee and tea available on our floor. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in and out was quick! We were also able to have access to our room early, and had a late check out for an added 25€. Pamela was very helpful - thank you for being so responsive and providing good suggestions for sightseeing in and around the area!! You were incredibly responsive during our entire stay! When we're next in Lisbon, we will definitely return to this hotel! "
