Houseboats in Portugal

"Nice hotel and nice room. I wasn’t crazy about the bathroom configuration (toilet was closed off with just a frosted glass door), but it was efficient and made sense for a busy airport hotel. We were there for one night before our plane left the next morning, so it was extremely convenient. Almost no airport noise, so no problem sleeping (despite the extremely firm mattress). Technically, you could walk to the airport (about a 10 minute walk), but with luggage, it’s easier to take the shuttle which stops just outside the front door of the hotel every 10 minutes or so. Absolutely wonderful buffet breakfast. Best I’ve ever had. "

"I travelled with my husband and 3 grown sons. The hotel has a very unique "industrial/ bohemian" style that was very eco-friendly, and really interesting and quite refreshing -- the furniture and overall design was very different from typical hotels. The terrace had a bar, outdoor pool, seating areas and a ping pong table that the entire family enjoyed. The hotel was reasonably quiet, so we had free access to this space. The food and service at the Mojjo restaurant adjacent to the hotel was very good. Prices were reasonable. Dinner was very good, but breakfast was ok as the hot foods served at the buffet did not stay hot. It was nice to have free coffee and tea available on our floor. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in and out was quick! We were also able to have access to our room early, and had a late check out for an added 25€. Pamela was very helpful - thank you for being so responsive and providing good suggestions for sightseeing in and around the area!! You were incredibly responsive during our entire stay! When we're next in Lisbon, we will definitely return to this hotel! "

"The Star Inn is super-close to the Lisbon Airport but you would never know it as the room was quiet. Convenient shuttle service to LIS in less than 10 min. Room is small. Breakfast buffet was quite good and filling."
