The location offers great subway options for getting around NYC, saving a lot of $ compared to taxi, Uber, Lyft, etc. we will definitely return! "

"A nice, human- scale NYC hotel well away from the insanity of the tourist areas served by day-trip buses. We had no issues with anything during our 4 day stay during the week before Christmas. Shower/bathroom and beds were particularly nice. We especially liked the three-tier shelving over the toilet for our stuff. The bathroom tilework was beautiful in room 1206. Other guests were mostly older (40-60) couples and we saw few kids- which for us is a blessing. The bar and lounge area was relaxing...

"Hotel Newton was closed for renovation and despite calls and requests to Expedia they continue to send messages that I would and did stay there."
