Stayed on the 43rd floor, corner room with a great view. Room was comfortable and relaxing. My sister and I’s first time in NY and am happy with choosing The Millennium for our stay. Front desk and bells men was very friendly. Attractions were in walking distance. Great food in the area too!

This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, it is dirty, outdated and nothing like the photos. There website is very deseaving.The room was extremely hot that it was unbearable, no matter how much you turned it down it was still 85-90 degrees. Three other guests had the same problems when we spoke to them. It took two hours to get our bags back as they had one bell man, causing us to miss our bus back home. The place is insane. The manager did not help nor did the front desk seem to care at all. DO NOT GO HERE. Waste of money

When we arrived at hotel, we received our hotel room assignments, we had 3 rooms. Upon entering the room, we tried to turn a/c because the rooms were extremely hot & humid. The 1st room had no response to turning on a/c. The other 2 rooms said it was set at 65 degrees but was not running. Called front desk for assistance and they sent maintenance to room & were told the a/c module is burnt up and we would have to change rooms. We went to front desk and were given another room. Upon entering this room, the a/c showed it was on and was 65 degrees. It was not!! All 3 rooms were in the upper 80's in temperature. We again went down to front desk where the manager talked to us, not with us! After some time, he advised the a/c in the hotel was turned off for the year and was not working. The manager was VERY RUDE & told us if we didn't like it to check out and go to another hotel! He was not very sympathetic and did not care! Changing hotels was not an option due to availabilty and pricing at other hotels because we reserved these 3 rooms several months in advance at a lower cost. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again or ever recommend this hotel! Rooms were very dirty. Our widows in the one room was duct tape closed. The only thing this hotel has going for it is it's location to Times Square. Upon checking out, each room had a "Highgate Charitable Donation" on our bills and a nightly FACILITY FEE on our bills!! FOR WHAT??????

This hotel was perfect. Close to Times Square and Rockefeller Center for shows and plenty of dining options. The hotel has been around for a while, so you aren't getting brand new suites, but the staff and facilities are great

Two night stay in a king room. The good: decent bed(s), room size. The bad: the toilet tank in our room sprung a leak - in rhe morning, our bathroom floor was submerged in 3/4 inch of (clean) water, leaking into the hall. Called front desk at 6:30 am, they wanted us to leave the room, bur had no rooms available for us. Pushed off leaving until 7:30 so we could at least get ready for the day. Stored luggage with bellman. Came back to front desk several times to see if a room was ready, no go - this was not a priority for them. Final check was 1:30 pm before we needed to leave for a show, still no room. They did give us a pass to use the bathroom on the main floor. Got back from our planned activities (2 shows and dinner) after 11 pm, finally got a room. Same kind of room we had before, but worn - peeling wallpaper, falling apart headboard, stained lounge chair, worn rug, fauty a/c. But, at least the bathroom floor was dry. There was no effort made to reduce our loss of room use for an entire day., except for a later check out (shich we could have gotten even if we hadn't been removed from our room). We paid in advance, so it sucks to be us, I guess. We were in a party of 6, none of us will be returning to this hotel, and we come to NYC regularly. (The other people in our party had problems with their rooms as well, but not to our extent). It seems like they don't care whether or not people return, as there are enough visitors to NYC that their (mediocre) lodging won't suffer.
