"A high quality hotel with bungalows set in impeccably manicured gardens with beautiful flowers and birdlife. Rooms were large and scrupulously clean, decor slightly plain. Staff were generally helpful and curteous, but we did have one problem in the restaurant with slow service which revealed the customer is not always seen to be right in this hotel! I read a recommendation to stick to the Costa Rican dishes, which we found to be good advice."

"BAUMA was an excellent stay. The check-in was smooth and we were in easy contact with the virtual concierge in addition to the staff at the property. While there was an option for us to leave our bags with the on-site laundry room and staff before our check-in, the room was actually available earlier and we got to check in after confirming with the virtual team easily.
