Camino Verde is an exceptional place to stay. The shared deck area is a real highlight. It boasts views across into the cloud forest and is protected from the wind and mist by folding floor to ceiling glass doors. There is a wood burning stove, shared kitchen, free tea and coffee all day. The breakfast is exceptional and good food can be enjoyed in the Soda just next door. The decor is quirky and there are plenty of shared indoor and outdoor spaces so whichever room you choose, there are always options. Walkable into the centre of Santa Elena with secure parking. Highly recommended.

We really liked the small B&B room we reserved. Space for 4 people, very clean and nice inside. It is located wirhin walking diatance to the downtown Monteverde area. It was actually a bit cool at night and so we started a small fire in the heater and it was great.

This is a super cute B&B staff was very friendly and helpful! We loved the patio with the fireplace, especially at night. The breakfast was good, too! We would stay again. Our only bad experience was not related to the hotel, but we booked it through them. On the night tour, our guide was very young and friendly! The poor thing lost his backpack early on. He was trying to find it and for the rest of the tour. We were very disappointed, especially for the price.

Familiar, good parking opportunities around the corner, close to city centre with shops and restaurants, Soda next door. Choose from 5 breakfast opportunities freshly cooked. Wonderful area. A bit noisy during night bevause of traffic. Beautiful lodge with mountain view and small but very cozy rooms.

Really loved this property: has convenience parking nearby, is close to many restaurants and central downtown area. This was a wonderful boutique hotel. Staff was helpful and courteous. Hotel was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious and free. Also free popcorn in the afternoon with cookies. Coffee and tea anytime. In addition, we were allowed to keep food in the refrigerator And use the kitchen if needed. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Camino Verde B & B in Monteverde! The staff truly made our experience unforgettable—they were incredibly kind and helpful, assisting us with booking activities and arranging transportation around the area. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made everything so easy and stress-free. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the town center, making it convenient to explore local restaurants and shops. The only minor downside was that parking is in a separate area from the hotel, but it wasn’t a huge issue for us. Overall, this hotel was a fantastic home base for our Monteverde adventure, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service!

Unfortunately due to tight international layovers we missed our first two days in the area, and only stayed one night here. The staff was so accommodating and nice and even tried to look to extend our stay with them (even though we couldn’t because we already had another stay booked elsewhere). Most of the staff was fluently bilingual. The reception desk was very helpful at finding good local places. What a beautiful, unique place! I wish we could’ve actually enjoyed being here. Breakfast was delicious!
