"Pro: very close to JR Fukushima, quiet, secured, near Lawson and Big Bean for food and daily goods, shared bathroom but very clean, friendly staff Cons: uncomfortable bed, the breakfast (toast & coffee) available at 08.30 hrs. but I left the guesthouse around 07.30 hrs. for sightseeing so I missed it all."

The location is superb for seeing temples on the west side of Kyoto, and it’s always easy to get around, either via their free shuttle bus to Kyoto Station, or by nearby public transit with a few blocks’ walk.
