Funchal All-inclusive Hotel

"We loved it because the weather can be 4 seasons in one day so we made a point of taking a walk every morning for a couple of hours after breakfast. It has private walkways and bridges which provide wonderful short cuts and also access to the other Savoy hotel. The food in the hotel restaurants is exceptional and so we did not eat out in 6 days there (oh once we ate out, meeting friends). Cleanliness including all the toilets just top notch. Service around the pool top notch. Very very difficult...

"The hotel is in a great location, with a walkable area and a lot of restaurants around it. We stayed in a room with pool view and were actually able to walk out the room and go straight to the pool. There also was an ocean view from our room, although we never got down to the beach. The staff was friendly and all the amenities were fine. Free parking was limited, especially since it was also being used by the locals. "

"The staff at the hotel were so friendly, we were invited to a drinks reception for returning guests and we got to talk to many staff members. The breakfast was wonderful. We plan to Reto next year."

"The staff for the most part a really nice maids and kitchen staff. The incumbent check in staff need to say I don’t know when they are asked question they don’t know. The new moto should be “If you don’t know Ask”"
