"The stay was absolutely fine and comfortable, where the slightly lower scores are as a result of some areas of the hotel look a little tired and worn out; however this was and has been reflected in the budget price. You get what you pay for and the room was clean enough. Some molud on the ceiling but nothing too much to worry about."

However, the room itself really needs a face lift - the paint is flaking off all over the windows and some part of the ceiling, the carpet is old and fraying at the junction where it meets the wood floor and the towel rain in the bathroom is loose. We stayed in the sea view room with balcony. Lovely clean bathroom and a comfy bed with comfy pillows. Added bonus was free onsite parking. "We had the luxury room and it was really spacious! Amazing value for the price. Areas of improvement are the length of time it took to get the room refreshed. If you are staying over then the rooms are done last. The amenities are also nailed to the wall in the shower so they are difficult to use in the bath. Reception gave me some spares. "I had a very warm welcome on arriving. Check was quick with nice staff. Bedroom was fine with ensuite shower room. It was quiet at night and I slept well. Breakfast was excellent well cooked and great value as it was included in the price of the room. Restaurant staff were very friendly and smiled which always nice and doesn't cost anyone anything, so well done 👍. I will come back.... "

"The room was a fair size. It was rather hot but you can turn the radiator off. It is on a main road and there is a lot of traffic noise. But it is nice and clean and the staff are helpful. They did us bacon sandwiches to go instead of having to sit down for breakfast. "
