The Maldron is a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The rooms are very nicely decorated, the beds were very comfortable and the front desk staff were amazing. My issue with the Maldron is what you see once you actually experience the room. There was no fridge, the room was way too hot and the temperature control was locked so we couldn’t adjust it. The shampoo was so cheap, it wouldn’t even lather, so with the very low water pressure and the no-lather shampoo, I felt like my hair was not clean during my entire stay. The TV was bad too. Very minimal channel selection and the channels it DID have, were extremely slow to load. When we first checked into our room, we noticed the toilet paper was almost empty and the Kleenex only had 2 tissues left as well. No hand lotion either. There were just certain things that didn’t meet the mark for us.

Great hotel in a central location and near the promenade. Easy walking distance to the main attractions yet lovely and quiet. Staff helpful, hotel lovely and clean, room nice and bed very comfy. I was there for the Brighton marathon, not enough staff on that morning to cope with the volume of people at breakfast time. Resulting in tables not being cleared quickly enough and people having to queue for longer than usual. Otherwise excellent service. I would definitely go back in future.

Lovely modern hotel just a few steps from the seafront & approx 10 min walk to the main station. NCP parking opposite - ask hotel for a discount code as a waitress told us one was available (but we had used the train so didn't enquire any further) Spacious modern rooms, comfy beds, very nice bathroom with a fab, huge walk in shower. Only thing missing was a fridge / minibar, which would have been handy to keep our drinks cool but a bucket of ice from the bar did the trick. Breakfast was plentiful with everything you could want (cooked, continental, fruit, yoghurt, smoothies etc etc) including gluten free breads and pastries, which was very welcome. Would happily stay here again and highly recommend.

Went with 2 girlfriends and had a room with a twin bed and double bed, perfect for us. Location is close by the ocean (3 blocks away) and all the restaurants and shops. Price isn't expensive at all for the location.

This is the second time I have stayed here. Rooms are very nicely updated. Only complaint is TV needs apple connect with TV so can stream my shows. Currently only allows Samsung tech. I got around that with the laptop, so not a huge deal. More notably, they have some great food options here which is convenient to say the least. I was shocked at how they upped the game in the pub food, breakfast and Raman since my last visit. Really fantastic fresh and tasty food. The chef is on top of it! And I didn’t even try their signature dining Chinese restaurant… The location is just off the busy areas and easy access to the botanical gardens which is really nice walking/exercise which I took advantage of on multiple occasions. I see no reason to go elsewhere for my business in Perth. I will be back

Our first visit to Maldron Hotel was very favourable and I would certainly recommend it. It's a short walk to the seafront, has an NCP carpark right opposite and felt safe. Breakfast was hot and hearty and the staff friendly. Beds comfy and shower was good. Slight negative was the fact that our room on floor 7 couldnt be accessed completely by the lift - we had to get out on floor 6 and then climb the stairs to the next floor. This may be an issue for less mobile guests as no help was offered with suitcases. It wouldn’t put me off staying there again, but I wasn’t aware beforehand and would probably request a different floor next time.
