"The property was well maintained and the staff was hospitable and polite. I would rate this a 5. The room was clean but a bit tight. The amenities were average. No conditioner or body soap and when called to refill the bottles. They brought up shampoo and body soap. One out of 2 rates this a 4. The water drain was clogged and the AC did not adequately controlled the temperature."

"Location was great, bell staff was friendly and helpful, check in was easy and front desk clerk gave me an upgrade. However the rooms are dated and dirty. Curtains in my room (354) were torn to shreds. Tub leaked continuously and wouldn’t fully convert to a shower so the water pressure was horrible. Spoke to front desk but nothing changed throughout our 4 night stay. We were a group of friends in 5 different rooms and 3 rooms had significant plumbing issues. This is clearly a bigger issue and,...

"We splurge on very few things, but this hotel is one of them. We love coming to New Orleans and the Hotel Monteleone is one of the reasons why. The ambiance, the attitudes and the history are the attraction. Learn of the history and you'll be wanting to stay here too."

"Very pleasant. Staff were wonderful. We did upgrade when getting there so we can use the club lounge. I would have enjoyed it the lounge more if it was stocked. I asked the staff if I they could restock the drinks she said yes but never got stocked. I waited for 15 minutes then finally just went downstairs and bought a drink from Starbucks. Checked back later still only thing drink was milks and coffee style drinks. The room was clean . All and all wonderful stay."
