"I was very impressed with The George Hotel. I had a very spacious room and bathroom. The bed itself was massive! Slight wear and tear as to be expected, but it was very clean and lots of toiletries on hand. It's located in a great spot, central to all the shops and local landmarks and walkable from the train station. The food was absolutely incredible and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again."

"The second time have stayed here as its a really good hotel. I had a disabled room which was roomy with a big bathroom with a walk in shower and a sturdy seat. The breakfasts were delicious and most of the choices offered a gluten free option. The staff here are really friendly and efficient and everyone is made to feel welcome. There was a small leak under the washbasin in the disabled toilet. I reported it to Diane on reception and the toilet was repaired with in a couple of minutes! Once again this was a very good stay and it will be my 1st choice anytime I visit Somerset."

"We stayed at the Old Vicarage for one night on our way down from Cheshire to visit family in Cornwall. We had a double room for my husband and I and our daughters shared a twin room with our dog. The service was impeccable throughout and our dog, Harvey, was treated like a VIP! Our wonderful breakfast was served by Daniel, who was friendly and professional. We chatted with the owners while checking out and it was clear that they pride themselves on the great team they have assembled to run this lovely, unique hotel. Would absolutely recommend and we'll stay again next time we are travelling south."
