Somerset Spa Hotel

"Staff brilliant and jasmine on the bar was really nice she really did far and beyond with our drinks. The room was very tired with stains on the wall looked like drinking chocolate and carpets could do with a deep clean but room was ok for an overnight stay. The room could do with a refresh as silicone is missing from part of shower tray and only one plug to charge mobile by the bed so my partner couldn’t charge her phone so maybe suggest a maintenance visit in near future but like I say for a...

"We stayed here for my husbands birthday weekend Joss welcomed us like family. The room and serivce was amazing We was made to feel so welcome. Joss had a card sent to our room for jons birthday Which was a lovely touch. The area is stunning and so quiet. The bed omg the bed was so comfortable If we didnt have to be up early for longleat we would of slept in all day lol. Jon and i stayed in room 2 the beech tree room It was cosy and so quite. "Very comfortable, modern hotel, a step up on the usual "Premier" options at this price with a decent shower on a hose and proper loo paper, decent wifi, comfy bed and smart TV. Nice bar area and friendly staff. Main menu a bit basic as is the quality and £9 a night parking only little whinges, all in all I'll definitely be back. Good breakfast too. "

"The staff were absolutely excellent with warmth and helpfulness throughout. The building is old and so the hotel isn’t modern but it is charming. Food was excellent and the bar pleasant and comfortable. The leisure facilities were lovely. Overall a very relaxing and peaceful stay. "
