“Lovely property at the old mill, quiet with a character. Initial mishap was dealt with promptly with no issues. Ideal place for a long weekend.”

“The Claremont is in a perfect location on the seaside in central Douglas. Stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Staff are friendly and efficient. Dinner as well as breakfast the next morning were wonderful. Room had a tub AND a walk-in shower! ”

“I had an absolutely excellent stay at the Halvard Hotel in the Isle of Man! The hotel is newly refurbished, blending modern elegance with every comfort you could need. The rooms are equipped with sleek, contemporary amenities, and the walk-in shower was such a luxurious touch. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the wonderful staff. “Lift not in use. Booked before we knew. Main reason we booked as both of us struggle with stairs. Booked through hotels .com. and they state lift not in use overnight. My fault as i didn't check on the hotel site. They did show lift out of action. Lesson learnt. Bathroom very small and dated. Room basic as expected, clean and had kettle etc. Breakfast was included. Juice,cereal, bacon etc. Very good. Asked for a slight change and it was no problem. Delia the lady was amazing. Nothing too much……
