“This room was conveniently located beyond Paia and the beautiful cliffs at Ho'okipa Beach Park. While we were there, the waves were historically big! There are 3 rentable rooms in this location, with a shared kitchen. I didn't understand that when I booked. The refrigerator space is shared with any other vacationers. “The house is in a nice neighborhood and very convenient to town. 10-15 minutes gets you to Paia, North Shore beaches, Twin Falls, and even Makawao. It was plenty of living space for a family of 6. We were glad to be able to invite my brother's family over as guests as well. John is maintaining this property while living in a separate house on the lot. We were surprised to see him and other guests regularly throughout our stay. We didn't feel comfortable exploring the yard or even enjoying the……

“Great location and nice clean and quiet”

“We had an amazing stay! Ally, the host, was fantastic, and her communication was flawless throughout our trip. The location was perfect for us—away from the hustle of the resorts yet conveniently close to Haleakalā, the Road to Hana, and North Shore adventures. The home was well-stocked with everything we needed in both the kitchen and bathroom. It was clean, comfortable, and set in the cutest setting in Haiku. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful Maui experience!”

Great facilities with an average room and service

"The pros are the hotel has great facilities for families, they have some really good slides for the kids, an arcade room, a Starbucks nearby and also car rental. There are two restaurants onsite and a few others within proximity. I also like the lobby area where they have a couple of tree swings, chess and some activities for the kids. That said, in terms of value, the room does not justify it. The bed was creaking, toilet is really small (you can’t even open the the door fully without swiping the mat on the floor), hot water not working well for the 2 nights we stayed in, temperature of the room can’t go below 20.5. And when the engineer attended the property, he couldn’t help with the issue and didn’t take off his shoes when he came in. Housekeeping did a good job in tidying up the room, unfortunately they only picked up the phone once out of the 4 times we called. All in all, for I felt the rooms definitely need a freshen up to charge the price. "
