“Very comfortable and clean cottage. It had everything we needed and in a lovely, quiet location. The welcome basket of honey and cake was a lovely touch and milk in the fridge. Would definitely stay again.”

“All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. During our stay all else in……

“We had a lovely midweek break. This property was ideally situated so we hardly used the car. The property had everything we needed and we appreciated this welcome pack!”

“Fabulous stay in this unique folly! it was lovely to see the sea and horses from the windows each day and there was plenty of activities to keep the children entertained close by - especially finding sea glass treasure on the local beaches.”

“Beautiful cottage in the heart of Beadnall just round the corner from our favourite pub The Craster Arms. Lovely cosey cottage with fabulous woodburner perfect after a walk on the nearby beach. Beds very comfy, kitchen had everything we needed. Only downside was the shower which had very little power and was therefore disappointing considering everything else in the cottage was quality. Overall a lovely family break”

“Such a gorgeous cottage, clean, calm and tranquil. Really nicely presented with super quality interiors which was so appreciated. We wanted for nothing and the extra touches of little chocolates, breakfast basket and tissues we wonderful little touches.We stayed with our two dogs and they loved it. So many beaches to walk in the day and a cosy log burner by night. We will certainly come to DogDaisy again.”

“An amazing place, the kids and dog loved it. So much freedom with it been locked gates and fence. Great selection of toys games and outdoor equipment theyve really thought of everything. Highly recommended for anyone with children. The space inside and outside the property is amazing no one was in anyones way loads of space to do your own thing. Doesnt matter about the weather there is enough things to keep you occupied in all weathers. Local aldi and coop within 10 min drive.Cant wait to go……

“Extremely dirty, shabby, in need of a full refurbishment, totally overlooked, noisy, no outside space, parking very difficult. Photos available of the filthy property”

“A very basic standard of accommodation, the beds weren’t very comfortable, the TV was tiny and only Freeview channels available. The outside area was like a junk yard and parking was tricky in terms of getting back out on to the road. No communication prior to our stay so we had no idea of the check in process. Ok for a 2 night stay but won’t be returning.”

“Property is spacious. Bed very comfy. Shower hot and good power jet for after long walks. Cooking area is well equipped. Tea and coffee on arrival was welcome. The underfloor heating was a real luxury, our dogs loved it. feet. ”

“We wanted to travel to Northumberland as had never been and it didn’t disappoint. Absolutely beautiful in every way, stunning beaches, villages and fabulous accommodation.The apartment was just perfect for us and our 2 dogs.The garden was large and dog friendly and the accommodation so beautifully presented and we just loved everything it offered We ate locally and really liked the Masons Arms which was very dog friendly and lovely homemade food.Looking forward to visiting again soon ”

“Arrived at property, east to find and 2 minutes of the A1 so great location. Check in and access easy. Fac I'll lities and standards in the property were great. Living room is upstairs and we never used as the kitchen dining area was brilliant for cooking eating in and nipping out to garden to catch some sun. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the area.”

“The property is overall really good, the bed was comfortable. The staff was really good they provided me with extra towels at no additional cost. Safe parking and location of the hotel is exactly to be on point, especially if you are visiting the city center. ”

The worst hotel stay in the entire trip

"Extremely poor service and stay. We were given a smaller room than we had asked for (images do not match the actual state of the room), and the air conditioner is broken; we were provided with fans but we do not have proper ventilation in our room, causing the room to be very hot and stuffy, and after taking a shower the room becomes very damp. Television does not work, and the fans aren't very good. There are also insect stains on the bedding. Service is misleading, we were told that our check out was at noon however we were urged to leave as soon as 11am came by, asking to charge us for overstaying in the hotel. Our belongings were held at the lobby as well because of this, and the staff were reluctant to return our belongings. Extremely disappointed at the service and conditions of the hotel, will not recommend it to anyone."
