“The property was spacious, clean and in good condition. It was in a very peaceful countryside setting with views of the sea from upstairs. The peace and quiet was very welcome as Cornwall is often very busy and it was nice to come back to in the evenings. Also having a swimming pool on site was a big bonus and the reason we booked. On the down side, my husband and I only had 2 bath towels each for the whole trip of 9 days. The booklet said that these would be changed half way through but this……

“We spent a lovely week in Frogapits, despite it raining every day! The cottage is fantastic, centrally located to local pubs and restaurants, and within easy travel to many local attractions. Beautiful garden and really enjoyed the wood log burner for cozy evenings in.”

“This location, property and careful attention to key amenities made for a fabulous weekend exploring Cornwall. We made trips to Bodmin Jail, Tintagel Castle and Land’s End from here. Wadebridge is 10 mins away, but this spot is beautifully secluded and very well appointed. The farm animals on the property will be an attraction on their own to some families. 3 different size units available, all sharing a beautiful courtyard. The hosts are wonderful as well!!”

“We have enjoyed our stay in Cockoo Cottage very much! All appliances work well, everything you need is there. The cottage is quite old, which means that you bump your head alot and it is quite humid. But beyond that it is just extremely cosy. The check in/out process was easy. We were there with two adults and two children and there was plenty of room for us. It is a pity that the pub down the road was closed (for good?), meaning for dinner you needed to drive to Penzance. “This property is in an ok location and has clean sheets - for that we were grateful. The staff in the main building tried their utmost to be welcoming and enthusiastic. They did a very good job under the circumstances. The rest is just tragic. The unit is run down, grubby and uncomfortable. Downstairs the kitchen units are about to collapse. The sofa bed is so stained you wouldn't want anyone let alone yourself sleeping/sitting on it. The floors are sticky and furniture uncomfortable. The……
