“Old Kirkstead is a really nice spot which was enjoyed by kids and parents alike. We'd never been to this part of Scotland before but we'll be back for longer in the summer having only had three nights this time round. Hilary (the host) couldn't have been more helpful after we managed to completely mess up the booking too!”

“Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in dem gemütlichen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Haus. Das Meer ist tatschlich direkt vor der Haustür, Findochty ist ein schöner Ort und eine gute Basis um bei schönem Wetter die Gegend zu erkunden oder es sich bei Sturm & Regen im Haus gemütlich zu machen. Für uns ein Glücksfall! Absolut liebenswert war das Starterpaket mit Prosecco, Milch, Speck, Eiern, Brötchen und vielem mehr mit dem uns Clare & Steve überraschten. Gerne wieder!”

“Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. ”

“Great location for us and all needed amenities. The view is spectacular and easily a place we would return to. Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. These were minor issues compared to how our holiday went. Thank you.”

“Clean, cosy cottage. Well equipped and welcome box was super with local gin, shortbread, tablet & oatcakes. Dog got pre breakfast walks to either Hosta beach or the Kettle spout.”

“The most idyllic cottage stay, exactly what I was looking for. Ideal location for quiet walks with my dogs in every direction from the cottage, didn't need to take the car out once! Liz was absolutely amazing, gave me some suggestions for local walks and communicated the check in process and cottage location. We will definitely be back. ”
