The property was warm and cosy, great to hunker down despite the lashing rain and powerful wind outside. A short walk gets you to Talisker distillery, the Old Inn and little local convenience store, so yiu have all you need. 「This charming cottage is even better in person than in pictures. We stayed 3 nights to explore Skye and our host, Liz, kept in constant contact with us to make sure we were taken care of. 「I had not realized on booking that the second bedroom was in the loft and accessible by a wooden loft ladder. Both my sister and I are retired and neither of us could get the ladder down. We decided not to contact Helen as we wouldn't have been able to go up and down the ladder anyway. 「The cottage is very nice. It is on two levels, the kitchen/dining is down quite a steep staircase that I found difficult to negotiate. I'm nearly 70 and my daughter fast approaching 50, so not spring chickens! If you want to use the sofa as a bed there is a 35 pound charge for linen that isn't made clear when booking. We both slept in the one bed which was fine. Extra charges should be mAde clear on booking and the fact it only has one bedroom was disappointing. Otherwise nice place if somewhat...

「Lovely cottage, very clean in the centre of Crail, initially it was hard to locate, could have done with details of how to find the property as it is tucked away off of a courtyard.Very comfortable and relaxing and it was lovely sitting in the courtyard when the sun was shining, you had everything you needed in the property and it was nice warm and cozy, would definitely use it again.」

「Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. On top of that, our hosts were beyond helpful with answering questions and requests even before we arrived at this great little gem of a place.」
