“Alan & Ann were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are personable & very accommodating. The house is absolutely charming, quaint & quiet. Ann keeps the decor of the house fitting to the era it was built. It's like being back in time. So much history, many books and so much to look at throughout the house. Delicious breakfast served with unique dishes & a small homemade baked treat in the room upon arrival. Highly recommend if you are looking for something different. A true 'hidden gem".”

“Beautiful room, they upgraded our room, what a lovely surprise! Everything was clean decorated beautifully, very quiet, the owner was accommodating and friendly, the breakfast was delicious. It was like staying in a room on a tour, and going back in time in a home that belonged to a well to do family from the 1800’s. ”

“Loved this house to stay and be walkable distance from the river. Mondays and Tues are quiet in the town since many places are not open. The carriage house is recently renovated and has such cute character. Only one incidence where I couldn’t get back in during midday as the door keypad was malfunctioning. The doors have to be relocked when exiting. The Breakfasts are yummy pastries but morning drop off is not punctual. ”

“I had to change the dates of my reservation last minute, and after reaching out directly to The Brunswick they were very accomodating and made the change. Breakfast was incredible and the variety of gluten-free options was a huge bonus! The staff was very pleasant. It was quiet and we felt safe. Parking was easy and it was just a short drive to the local shops and restaurants. These aren't deal breakers for us but may be for others: the king sized bed was two twin mattresses pushed together……
