“The staff is very kind on site, albeit quite young as a whole. (as is the clientele - we didn't see many guests or staff over 35). The staff prior to checking in is extremely difficult to reach and is unhelpful. I had to call 10 times and leave messages and book appointments (which no one attended) to reach someone who could help me schedule my itinerary. Things I was finally able to book were not in the system when I arrived, though the staff there kindly took care of it. There is not much……

“Iiked it all. The room lovely. Historical Hotel dating back to 1766. Most of decor beautiful period pieces. Original art work and hand written documentation preserved and in display. Tavern, cocktails,and Julia bartender was great. Lamb Shank Dinner a classic onion soup delicious. ”

“View from zulu lounge is fabulous; waitstaff Vinny was terrific, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast choices good. Too noisy in the tavern for dinner on Wednesday but lovely at the lounge. Could hear train from mountain view room - but not a total deal breaker. Good proximity to West Point museum and welcome center. Enjoyed sense of history throughout the hotel.”
