“Very nice place but no A/C. This is a downer for a 58 y/o menopausal woman. But, it really wasn’t a problem because it cools down at night and there were plenty of fans!”

“Billy and Berta were amazing hosts!! This place has everything you need for an amazing stay in Holualoa. The frogs offered a great natural white noise to sleep to, but they also have ear plugs available if they are too loud for their guests. Beach gear, snorkel gear, beach towels, iron, ironing board, French press, coffee grinder, water kettle, extra fans, detergent, after-sun…were just a few of the things available we took advantage of. It’s way from the tourist areas, but still close enough to……

“This property is at a higher elevation which is great to come back to after a hot day on the beach. That said it is quite cool in the morning and evenings - we wore sweatshirts and pants inside. Mid-morning it starts to warm up and the back lanai is a beautiful spot to lounge in the sun. The cottage grounds are beautiful - with lush, tropical plants everywhere. We had no issues with mosquitoes, just the odd moth but didn’t bother us. Inside of the suite does feel like a cottage in the forest……

“Wonderful place. Fully equiped and elegantly furnished. The house is private, surrounded by lush gardens. We spent a quite a while on the wonderful lounges on the lanai. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Loved everything about this place! The location is great. We walked across the street to watch the sunset every evening, always a stunning show. The house was easy to live in, equipped with everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the lanai which looks toward the ocean. There’s beach equipment, and the beaches are a very short drive from the house. There’s also a park at the end of the street where you can get in the water if you’re on the more adventurous side. The property managers are……

“My partner and I were here a little under two weeks. The pictures are incredibly accurate and the view from the lanai was even more picturesque than expected. The highlight here was the energy. It was palpable and expensive. Present and peaceful. This is definitely a place that will enhance your spiritual practice. The property manager was friendly and responsive. The coffee was the best I’ve ever had. I would definitely stay again”

“Absolutely OUTSTANDING in all respects! The property is lovely in the cloud forest. The house is extremely clean and well maintained, especially for the environment. Kathryn was excellent and brought fresh eggs for us to enjoy. That being said; first night - Coqui Frogs were a bit hard to handle. Wife was ready to pull a "My Cousin Vinny", except we didn't have a hand gun. By the last night she was actually in love with the forest sounds and misses them at night. We truly hope we are blessed……

“We had a wonderful stay at the cozy cabin. We enjoyed the geckos and beautiful birds, and the lovely warm breezes and views were stunning. There was plenty of beach equipment to use and a fully-functional kitchen. Charles was hospitable and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this quaint and lovely cabin.”
