“We had a very relaxing and peaceful experience in the botanical garden. Waking up to jungle vibes and sounds was worth the stay in Hāna. We were so close to our day trips to Black Sand,Beach, Red Sand Beach, Hamoa Beach, and the Hasegawa General Store. We made it to the Gulch and Bamboo Forest- which was beautiful. The Seven sacred pools are not swimmable and were kind of stagnant and unable to get to safely anyways. Waterfall was not very active at this time. There’s also an outdoor store and……

The electric fireplace is a special treat on the cool evenings. Although there are neighbors, you feel like you are all alone. The communication with the property managers was excellent. “My wife and I were on our first visit to Hawaii and spent two nights in Maui. We just got plain lucky to have found this heavenly place where the sunrise from the kitchen window was both breath-taking and spiritual. The cottage has everything one needs - adequate kitchen amenities, a nice living space, an outdoor patio with comfortable chairs, bedroom with a king-size bed and closet - all in the first-floor level as well as washer/dryer in the ground floor level. We wished we had stayed few……
