“We had a wonderful week at the Log Lodge. This property is very unique and has a lot of history in the house itself and also in the carefully curated collection of art and other fun antique artifacts that the owners have decorated it with. The property itself is larger than most Tahoe area lots, and the dog-friendly policy was wonderful for us. There is even a fenced-in dog area behind the house that kept our furry loved ones safe and happy. The property managers are very friendly, cooperative……

“The place was a little small but overall nice place. The main issue is communication with the owner. Tried asking him questions and he just didn’t really answer us. Kept giving us a generic message. I asked if it’s possible for a few hour early check in if it is available. Like if the night before isn’t booked because we wanted some family to hangout there while we went skiing. His answer “the place is always booked” but you can clearly see it wasn’t. You can just tell us, you accommodate an……

“This property was perfect for our goal of having a cozy white Christmas! My adult daughters, fur baby and myself enjoyed this quaint cabin and its location. The cabin provided everything that we needed for our holiday, including a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. Only drawback, we were hoping to ski at Homewood and didn’t realize until after we booked it was not open for the season. But we adjusted and skid another location on Christmas Day. ”

“We stayed here with family friends for winter skiing. Location of the home was fabulous, easy to get everywhere and loved the lake front. We enjoyed using the hot tub after a day of skiing! Loved the layout of the hike with private bathrooms and king size beds for 3 of the bedrooms. Overall I would definitely recommend this property. ”

“Overall this place was great. It is truly a cabin in the woods! We saw a bear in the driveway on the first night and still felt very safe. We had a question for the host after we arrived and they were quick to respond. We'll stay again”

“We enjoyed our short stay and quick, clear communication. Place was comfortable and clean although the TV in the master bedroom didn't work (but we didn't end up needing it since the game room was working and was comfortable). Would recommend!”
