“Some rooms don't have chairs and all rooms don't have hangers. ”

“You are definitely paying for the amazing location and the historical charm. It is within walking distance of downtown Mount Dora and on the lake which is great. The rooms definitely show wear, the bathrooms require multiple flushes. Some of the quirks are charming such as using an actual key to get in the doors and the old time bathrooms. But mostly just seems like benign neglect to the room. Especially for the price you are paying. Would be more comfortable and have more amenities and cheaper……

“The hotel was fairly clean and comfortable. The bed was decent, but not the best. There was mold on the floor of the shower, so we didn't use it. Luckily, our neighbors weren't very loud, but the door to the room provides no sound isolation from the outside. Overall, it was a good place to stay for one night while traveling through.”

“The location was beautiful. Loved the outside bed and being able to use the kayaks free of charge. Would be nice to have a few more in case our whole group wanted to go out. (6 of us) I did not ask as there may have been more if we asked. Overall, it was very nice and I would definitely stay again. Communication was great. Never had to wait for anything. However, the dryer did not work, and the one bedroom door did not close properly or lock. (not the king bedroom) Also, it would have been……
