“This was a very last minute reservation. We were in town and our overnight plans were upended due to a burglary where we intended to stay. While having dinner I found Golden Pond Cabins and called around 8p looking for accomodations for the night. Turns out they had an opening and within 30 mins texted me back to let me know they had our room cleaned, prepped and the key was in the room waiting for us. What a huge relief! When we got there the room was spotless and that's saying a lot as my wife……

“The property was exactly what we were looking for. Great cabin with modern amenities in a wooded location on the river. Great place!”

“We stayed here the past two weekends and both times the property manager was easily available, the property was clean, and we were able to bring our dog. It’s also the perfect location for the snowmobile trails. ”

“Amazing cabin in the woods. Carol and Dan were amazing making sure we had everything that we needed. Which we did. They provided everything for modern living. We didn’t leave the cabin we did have some adventures in the rain and snow on the property. Our dogs were exhausted by day three. We saw otters playing on the lake, large beaver and some deer. Very quiet. Perfect place to go if you are looking somewhere to get away from the noise! Especially on New Year’s Eve. We cannot say enough……

“We have stayed at this amazing cabin a few times and it is by far our favorite place to stay!The layout is perfect and we were amazed at how fast they had the snow plowed before we arrived and while we were there ! Brian and Andrea are the perfect hosts! ”

“Great spot for a group outing. this was a lovely location to hang out in, paddle around the lake, go to old forge and do some hiking. we needed big tables for lots of games, and this was perfect. Only downside to the place is no dishwasher, which can be a little tricky with a group of 8.”
