“I loved staying here and wish I had stayed for my whole stay in Cusco! The literal only complaints I have is the street was very loud in my room and the shower didn't get very hot, but every other thing was perfect. “Realize that most people in Peru are not as tall as we are, 5'10+, the couch was very short. We made do by buying a lawn chair that we left for the landlord since we were there for a month. bed was very comfy, again a double, we have a king at home. You make do with what you have, we would stay here again. its an apartment, you do hear other tenants from time to time.”

“This was a nice apartment with a great view of Cusco. The owners (while not english speaking) were very nice and even organised washing for us. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen / lounge area was nice. A couple of things to note about the property. In winter it gets quite cold (there is a oil fin heater provided). The bathroom is very little (which is standard for Cusco) and the shower has a retrofitted heater shower head. These seem to be in all places that don't have a hot water supply,……

“Gustavo‘s place was amazing. This was truly the best Vrbo experience we’ve ever had. The house was even better than shown in the photos, but what makes Gustavo‘s place so special is his commitment to customer service. Gustavo personally welcomed us on our day of arrival by giving us a tour of the house. He also arranged all our excursions as we used Lamay as our base to tour all of the Cusco region. “This is a family run business and they truly care about the comfort of their guests. To start, we had some delays in our arrival to Cusco and Milagros was very gracious and patient in arranging our transportation to the apartment. “Joel and Cidelia were amazing hosts who treated us like family. Joel built his home and the sky domes from scratch. We had the wonderful opportunity to cook with Cidelia and have dinner with their family. The domes were awesome. It does get a little cold, but they were more than accommodating with blankets. Be prepared to glamp. The location and views were amazing. We enjoyed beer and a beautiful view overlooking the valley on the mini bar near our sky dome. ”

“The property is very good for a family travelling and wanting to make some lunch/diner at home. We had difficulty getting hot water to take a shower even if we were taking a very fast shower but I think it is the same case everywhere in peru during the winter. No towels and face cloth were left to take our shower. No extra paper towels and nothing in the kitchen: no hand soap or dish soap. Just be aware to bring everything needed. Overall the place is very good. ”

“Way to go! My family of 4 (with two young kids) really enjoyed the apartment because of the location and quiet home-like feel. Everything in the city was perfectly walkable: the local market, bakeries, coffee shops, the main plaza, Sacsayhuaman. We found it to be an ideal base for exploring and we felt very safe. “We stayed for two separate nights before and after Inca Trail tour. Both of the rooms are comfortable, beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent with so much to choose, and many of the food is from the local area. We also took pictures with the cute baby alpaca in the garden. The hotel is located just few minutes walk from the main square, but it's quiet. Unfortunately we didn't have time to join the pisco sour class.”
