The Grosvenor Square room was very loud and I could hear every step and talking from neighbors because the multi-bedroom unit is directly above - didn't get much sleep. “At the time of booking a bed-and-breakfast I thought that breakfast would be included and be prepared by cook. But I got breakfast in a bag in refrigerator to take to my room. If I would’ve known prior to booking the bed and breakfast I would’ve not to stay there.”

“We could not recommend highly enough. Willy and Shoney are great hosts. Three-course breakfasts were amazing. Homemade cookies set out as take-aways every day. Free glasses of wine on the porch in the evening. Wonderful live music included on Saturday night. On-point advice about what to do around Asheville. All in a beautiful and historic home. I don't know what they could do to make it better. Just a fantastic place to stay.”

“My daughter and I stayed for our annual 2 week vacation away from "the guys". Bear's Den is everything we needed to recharge. The property and home are great. We spent a great deal of time outside painting, birdwatching, and reading. Listening to the river running was so relaxing. House has just about everything you need. The hot tub was perfect for after a hike. There are neighbors within view, but far enough away to still feel secluded. Just a wonderful place to get away and drown yourself in……

The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. ”
