Western United States Historic Hotel

"Stay here if you want a historic experience. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The food at the Chelsea Chowder House was excellent. The Observation Bar is still a hoot and sometimes has special events (they had an 80's party during our stay). Keep in mind the ship is almost 90 years old. That said, you're not getting modern amenities. This was luxury during that time. They said there was a free shuttle to downtown Long Beach on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays, but we just took Ubers.
