「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home; the home was furnished nice, very clean and all amenities were as stated and very comfortable for all ages. Our time using the home was too short as we had traveled to Redding for "Celebration of Life" for a family member and most of our weekend was spent away from the property with the family elsewhere. We'd like to come back and enjoy more time there...a great prooerty for a family gathering!」

「The house was exactly as described. The owner was extremely communicative and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We found this to be one of the cleanest VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed in. We appreciated all the extra touches like popcorn, bottled water and candies to greet us. The location was convenient to everything and the hot tub was a bonus! We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. 」

「The view is amazing. The road to get there is confusing and very windy and narrow. There is very little in the kitchen so bring everything you need. There is a coffee maker with filters and literally salt and ice. Period.Steep driveway steep stairs. Only one bathroom. Comfy beds」

「We had a lovely 5 day stay at the River Retreat. It was quiet, the bed was excellent, as was the bathroom. The location was a stone throw away from the river, and the trails there are just glorious to walk. Hosts were really great. 」

「We had a great time staying in Redding at this property. Roger was quick to reply and gave great instructions for entering the home. Clean, amazing views, and easy access to town and nearby outdoorsy activities. Definitely recommend and would stay again! 」

「Sadly, our trip was disrupted by the fires with heavy smoke in the area and Lassen NP closed on the day of our arrival, which was why we came to the area. So we had to leave next morning due to smoke and poor air quality and didn't get to check out the town or area at all. Tanya, the property manager, was responsive and helpful in facilitating communication with the owner, Nicholas. 」

「We were in Redding for a fishing trip and Eric's house was conveniently located to meet up with our guide. It was very clean and comfortable with everything labelled for ease of use. The kitchen is fully stocked and the water container with a brita water filter in the fridge is a nice touch:) The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and clean. Check in and check out was easy and the owner responds quickly to any questions. We hope to return in the future and highly recommend Eric's house for...

"This is the most rubbish hotel I have ever stayed in. When I entered the room, there were fingernails on the bedside table and a big spider web on the ceiling. Breakfast doesn't seem to belong to the hotel, it seems to be outsourced to private people, and it tastes terrible. It's just rubbish. What impressed me the most was a staff member at the front desk, whose name was Ricky. He was very nice, friendly and patient. Your hotel has such staff, which is your greatest treasure."
