The lobby smelled like cigarettes from an employee smoking right next to the doors. We had 2 rooms and requested rooms next to each other when we booked, which was not accomodated. One of the rooms had the room number written on the wall with a red ballpoint pen instead of an actual placard. That room also appeared to have been used, with dirty towels hanging in the closet and towels in the bathroom in disarray. When I contacted the front desk, they said they would send someone to clean it up because they had no other rooms available. (We had already paid through Expedia and didn't have funds to find another place.) The paint was chipping on all walls and doors, with dirt streaming down bathroom door and on floor and light fixture. The apartments right next to the parking lot set off huge, loud fireworks as we were going to sleep. There was no point trying breakfast as the line was so long and it stunk like cigarettes downstairs. Everything looked ghetto, for lack of a better term, with stained carpet, unpainted patches on the walls and ceiling. No locks for the windows, which were half walled up balconies. I wish I could get my money back.
