"This hotel is clean and quiet, with very friendly staff. It's pretty centrally located, with a bus stop right in front, and it's just a few blocks from a major subway stop. It's only a few blocks from Nijo-jo Castle (make reservations online, to see inside). There's a 7-11 across the street, and if you want to stock up your room with groceries, there's a Life store a few blocks away. They have EXCELLENT sushi and other prepared foods, at very low prices. "Had a great stay here for 3 nights with 2 adults, 2 kids. The room was comfortable, immaculate, well equipped. My only complaint about the room would be the fridge temperature - it turned everything to ice by the morning. Great for bottles of water to take out for the day, not so much for left over snacks. Additionally, we used the washer/dryer in the room which worked well during the middle of our trip.
