「Really nice hotel. All the staff i spoke to were very friendly, with some banter and chat to make me feel right at home. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre. Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The hotel is right on the side of a massive park/green. Nice location.」

「Great feel for the hotel when we arrived, staff were very welcoming. Room was ready very early for us totally unexpected but very happy to get to the room. Disappointed with the wi fi , seemed you had to pay! Only wanted to search for local amenities. Also a little disappointed with car park charges. I work in a hotel have done for five years, not charges for carpark, free WiFi etc. we have over 146 bedrooms. Overall our stay was lovely hotel was very nice, but just the small things.. 」

「Great place for us as a place to sleep. We wanted to be near Fountains Abbey. The breakfast was amazing, we didn't eat on an evening so don't know about that. The building needs a little TLC, the door to our veranda was difficult to lock, the stairwell smelt a little fusty and there are no plug sockets near the bed. The bed was comfy though and the room basic but acceptable. Overall, a nice stay.」
