「Lovely to see a proper village pub so busy on a couple of weekday nights in Mid-January. And quite rightly so - friendly staff, friendly locals and friendly guests. Breakfasts were great, dinners delicious and very reasonably priced (wife said the Rib-eye steak was the best 'pub steak' shed ever had and my chicken goujons were fantastic. 」

「The bedroom, breakfast options and morning staff were excellent. I really wanted to be able to give this property a positive review. However, after the room was cleaned on the second night, our bedroom door was left open and consequently not secure. There was no additional security between the bar and the bedroom so anybody could have just walked in. What made this worse was the attitude of the gentleman behind the bar who I spoke to about this. He was very dismissive and didn’t seem to think...

「The property is magnificent, weird, wonderful and interesting. The owner Tony was very accommodating and explained the history of the house which is really informative and intriguing. Our room was spotless and beautiful. I would highly recommend to stay here great value for money and a beautiful fascinating stay! 」

「Really lovely property, arrived late but loads of outside lighting so easy to find and feels safe. Room was perfect and bathroom had everything I needed. 「A.B&B was a wonderful place to stay. I did not feel like I was staying in a B&B. It was very much home from home feel. David catared to all my needs. Breakfasts were delicious as it was tailered to what I liked. The room its self was cosy with a very comfy bed. David himself was a nice guy, I enjoyed chatting with him. I will defiently be booking this place again for future weekend trips to Glastonbury.」

「We stayed at the Old Vicarage for one night on our way down from Cheshire to visit family in Cornwall. We had a double room for my husband and I and our daughters shared a twin room with our dog. 「Welcoming host and lovely breakfast highly recommend the food we really enjoyed it. Excellent value for money. The property is tired in places and our room was spacious rm4 again tired and needed attention to detail for example loo seat, didn't flush property and housekeeping needed attention saying that however for what we paid it was a, fair reflection on what we received. Wouldn't put us off a return. 」
