We were visiting friends nearby so didn't need to do so, and the room was lovely and warm on our return once the scheduled heating had started. "Nice village pub. The ale was excellent. Pretty small room with tiny bathroom. Overall enjoyed our stay. We ate at the pub and the food and choice was pretty good. The fish pie was a little dissapointing, didnt see a prawn, and no smoked haddock to give flavour. Some nice walks by the river. Unfortunately didnt have time for the long walk to the coast and Ladram bay. A pity there was not close parking to do that."
