Daytona Beach has a limited selection of hotels with a kitchenette. I settled on this property and booked a one bedroom. The total cost of my 7 night stay was at a great rate/cost.
It is no frills which I knew prior to booking however I found a few things to be off putting. I would not stay at this property again. Listed below are my observations and experiences.
Pros
1. Great heat, water pressure and waterfall showerhead
2.One bedroom was rather spacious
Cons
1. Public parking lot next to property where vehicles tend to rev engines early morning/late night
2. No storage for food items
3. Broke cabinet door in kitchenette
4. Dirty cookware, serving utensils
5. No paper towels, colander, salt/pepper shaker
6. 2 each of forks, spoons, knives
7. Serving utensils were minimal
8. Missing plates, bowls, cups
9. Blown lightbulbs in living area and no peephole cover
10. Hotel lobby, breakfast room and elevator are outside in separate areas.
11. One of the two elevators was out of service my entire stay which was a headache during the weekend when more guests are present
12. Power went out for some reason. (It was rectified within 15-20 minutes thankfully)
I picked up disposable bowls and plates. I already had disposable cups and utensils with me. Sadly I did not cook as much as I felt uncomfortable with the kitchenette. That was the entire purpose of booking this room to save money on food costs. Did not complain as I felt it other rooms would be similar if not worse.
