"This is review is for the Ocean suites side. There are 2 properties, one in which you can walk to the other or take the free 5 min shuttle. We enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be able to take the 8 minutes water shuttle (operated by Renaissance) to go the the Flamingo island! This island is a must! I would not recommend swimming in the lagoon in front of the Ocean suite hotel, by pool area. The water is still, there and seaweed, etc has a funky odor. Other than this, all was enjoyable,...

"Great property but check in an out was not good. Check in lobby had loud music and couldn’t hear anything. They were only interested in selling us a membership. Place is huge and no briefing on the trolley system which would have helped greatly. Was not told that we needed a ticket to check out and give the bellman before they would let you leave. Almost didn’t make our transport to the airport because we had to wait in line for this ticket. Also would not let in one of our excursion...

"Lady at the front desk was very accommodating! She was always professional and smiling! My name is KB FABULOUS and all the staff were amazing! I was in room 2103! I lost my phone and a couple of amazing drivers of the transport vehicles turn my phone into the lost and found! This was my very first international trip out of the United States from the state of Alaska! I really enjoyed myself and would recommend this hotel and resort to others when visiting DR! "The dining was very limited as was the market aka gift shop. Pools were nice but drinks were expensive unless you hit the happy hour. We mostly did a too tire outside of the resort as there wasn’t much to do. I did enjoy the atmosphere as it was well kept. I also liked the cats :) "

"The resort was very nice. The staff was kind and helpful. I had several problems with the room 1064. The tv lost cable, two days i had no water pressure. I left my charger in another room but no one could find it."
