"First visit to Japan, stayed at 4 different hotel properties. The Royal Park Hotel Iconic was hands down the best one! Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great amenities and the staff were all helpful. The hotel offered luggage transportation services and the prices for that were reasonable. Their cocktail hour at the Lounge was fun, it’s all DIY cocktails but they give you everything you need. Would definitely recommend and come back"

"This is an art hotel. Each individual room has been used as a canvas to creat art. The first room had a round bed. The second had two beds placed at 90 degree with a huge piece of art on the ceiling. Great concept if you want something different in a room. Friendly staff and very clean. Worth a short stay"

"This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Kyoto. Spacious rooms, clean, great water pressure, great AC. The only negative is a lot of loud local vehicles actively trying to be as loud as possible. Not much the hotel can do about that, though. It’s not constant, but frequent enough that it’s bothersome.
