“I had a great experience this past weekend , I was able to check in earlier than 4 , which was a plus as I am 35 weeks pregnant and was feeling tired . We also noticed that our AC unit was not working in the room , we expressed the concerns to the front desk and someone came to look at it within 15 minutes. The maintenance guy replaced the whole unit very quickly and then came and checked on us again to make sure it was still working ( which it was !!) Great Beach access and deck area for……

“A good place to stay in the off season. Property and frooms were clean, and convenient with microwave and fridge. Close to a grocery store for snacks and sandwich makings. Staff recommended restaurants open in the off season and they were all very good. Would stay there again if in the area.”

“So it’s an older place. The stove needed updating (room 5 had a 1970 something stove that the burners barely worked on unless on high, which then set the smoke detector off. Also the oven would never heat up to use!) The beds are only full sized double beds and aren’t that comfortable. The rooms were very clean though. Room 9 was very nice but it was not an efficiency. It had a nice balcony and the best ocean view for the second floor. The hotel is smoke free but my neighbors smoked a bunch of……

“We were delayed arriving due to issues with the Cedar Island ferry. I called Laura and she made arrangements to leave the porch light on and key in the room. She was so nice to deal with on the phone and the next morning when we checked out. Restaurant recommendations were great for breakfast, The room was renovated, clean and fresh. The entire motel looks like it is undergoing a facelift. I am sure when it is completed it will be very nice. We were pleasantly surprised at this motel.……

“The property was well kept. Check in was easy, the room was large with high ceilings and a ceiling fan. Bed was very comfortable. Wonderful pier and gazebo in which to watch the beautiful sunsets. Staff did whatever they could to be sure the guests had everything they need. ”
