"We had a blast! The Lazy River was the most talked about and used amenity. Even though it was colder than what we planned we loved it at Rio Rodanthe. No reason to go anywhere else. We all had a fanastic time."

"Lots of outdoor space and beds / bedrooms. Common area inside is a little tight for large groups but lots of seating on both decks and poolside. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The mini fridge at the wet bar helped with trips from upstairs to the grill. Close to harris teeter and food lion."

"The house was great. Perfect for our group. TVs in 2 of the rooms we couldnt get to work bur didnt care because we were on vacation. We didnt complain just didnt use them. Location was awesome except for right by the semi busy street. Overall great stay in a great house."

"The room was clean and the view was great. There was a washer and dryer but it wasn't hooked up. We also had some ongoing internet issues through our stay. But these were minor."

The pool was fantastic, but was surrounded by weeds and included a pile of broken and rusted pool toys. The pool loungers(3) were all broken and unusable. "We stay here because of the Tiki Bar.we could have stayed at a nicer more updated facility for close to the same amount, but having a Tiki Bar really does make this feel like a clarion. We like not having to drive or leave the premise once in awhile for food and drink. We are excited that there will be a second Tiki Bar this summer where the longer chairs used to be. The food is excellent and they have an excellent selection of wine, beer and spirits. We were in one of the rooms that hasn’t been updated it seems. Older faucet styles and sink, worn office chair and sloppy job with up keep as far as grout and other maintenance. The bed was comfortable as well as the linens. I would have liked to have had soup lessons especially since it was a double queen oceanfront room. We usually stay here two to three times a year in a King Ocean Front. There were none avail e for a short weekend stay. That was disappointing as often as we stay here. I don’t know if we are signed up for Wyndam rewards but we should be I guess. I wo der if that would have made a difference. New air conditioner units by Trane were welcomed compared to the noisy old ones from last year. We could actually hear the ocean WITH the air conditioner on. It would be nice of there were an option for a walk in shower. I almost tripped stepping over the tub. This place would be 9-10 stars if they offered that. I prefer a K-cup coffee maker do the ground don’t get into your cup. All in all, it still is our favorite."
