Property manager knowing places guests in rooms non functioning plumbing or WiFi. Could not take a shower at 6am as there was zero water pressure, was later offered another room with just enough water pressure to barley get water out. Staff clearly knew about the issues and excused it as “an old building”. Clearly not the first time they have put guests in these rooms. Take your chances!

Like many others pointed out that there’s only one small elevator so you will have to wait for a while. I ended up walking up down the stairs most of the time. Facilities are old but decently clean.

Good location near the BART and Union Square with lots of dining options nearby. Staff were helpful and the hotel room had a good bathroom and comfortable bed. The roof fans from the neighbouring restaurant made some noise throughout the night but otherwise it was comfortable and I would stay again.

The properly is old and very basic. The rooms are tiny, I spent my stay walking sideways around the bed because of the lack of room. It reminded me of some European rooms I stayed in. The windows do not isolate noise The hotel however is very well run and very clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location is close to major transportation and would be a great location if not for all of the homeless drug addicts that sleep and relive themselves on the sidewalk. There isn't much the hotel can do and the Hilton and Continental have exactly the same problem but it is off putting and rather discussing so be prepared for If. If you just walk up one street you are then surrounded by Saks, Macy's and Louis Vuitton. The price was excellent for a downtown location

Property was absolutely filthy. We paid for the most expensive room in the hotel, a superior suite, and not only didn’t get the room we reserved but the front desk staff, Indy, argued with us for over two hours about a refund while other guests piled up behind us as he ignored them when they needed help.

I liked that they give guests coffee and a mini breakfast every morning. I also like that during the day they give out fresh cold water near the entrance for any guest who might be thirsty. I also like that the hotel is close to so many stores and restaurants which makes staying there worth it. Rooms have good sheets and pillows. If I only had one complaint it would only be that restrooms are kind of small. Would make anyone taking a shower feel claustrophobic. But other than that, in my opinion a very recommended stay!
