"This was a beautiful dated building, not your conventional place to stay but i would most definitely return, service was amazong, so friendly and efficient, this was for my wedding, one night before and night of, the jacuzzi bath was fantastic and both my son and my wife loved it, good for us bigger lads who cants normally enjoy a bath, very low ceilings but there are warnings in all the night places, would highly recommend if you want a peaceful retreat, the breakfast was amazing and good...

"Birds farm is a lovely place to stay for the local Essex or Sussex area. Very quiet in the evenings, despite being just off a busy road. "I was very happy with the room itself and the price I paid for it booking only couple of days beforehand. Nice and fresh with lots of storage and a clean ensuite bathroom I'd compare the facilities to Travelodge or Ibis(but no TV). However. "This is a great hotel. Upgraded to a lovely small suite with an amazing bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Breakfasts were super quality and delicious, although the breakfast tables are not dressed with a cloth and the old sticky scarred leatherette tabletops were a surprising lapse. We pre-requested through the app ‘no feathers’ in the pillows - this was missed, but corrected next morning. Finally, parking is not well signposted (suggest put Foresters Arms in satnav) "
