"Husband and I had an amazing stay at The Silversmith. The room was very nice and clean, the staff was super helpful, and we got drink vouchers for the bar downstairs which stayed pretty empty and was a good spot to have a nightcap. There was an outage with some of the television stations but we weren’t there to watch television anyway so it wasn’t much of an issue. All of the train lines are super easy to get to, museums and food are convenient, and Millennium Park is like 2 blocks east. Definitely would recommend!"

"We were offered a discounted upgrade upon check in. It was my birthday and we were excited to accept. The riom was spacious with an amazing view. Breakfast was delicious. My only complaint wasn't really the hotels fault but a little communication would have been helpful. We traveled out to the suburbs for a day trip. When we tried to return they had shut down the entire city for a Mexican Independence parade. Entering the city was not possible until 4am. Locals planned this fir months it was on every local news outlet for weeks, but coming from another state we had no way of knowing or predicting that exit ramos from the highway would be blocked. A small write up about what to expect slipped under the door or given with keys would have allowed us to sleep in the room we paid for that night rather then in our car on I90/I94. Otherwise, a completely amazing stay."
