Seminyak Square is a small but stylish shopping complex in the heart of Seminyak, an upmarket resort village on the west coast of Bali. The shops in the complex sell a wide range of items, from clothes, jewellery and accessories to books, artwork and Indonesian souvenirs.
As you walk around the complex, you’ll notice a number of well-known international brands as well as smaller, independent boutiques. Shop here for designer swim and surf wear, leather bags, batik clothing, Balinese furniture, imported English books, Buddha statues, handmade sarongs and much more besides.
When your feet start to get tired, replenish yourself with coffee and cake at one of the cafés or bakeries in the complex, or enjoy a bite to eat in one of the excellent restaurants. There is a range of different cuisines on offer here, both Asian and Western, so you’ll have plenty to choose from. If you’re neither hungry nor thirsty, you can simply relax in the seating area in the air-conditioned garden and make use of the free Wi-Fi to check your emails or catch up on the news.
When you’ve finished your retail therapy, pamper yourself a bit more with a luxurious and therapeutic spa treatment in one of the many spas in Seminyak village. Afterwards, head to the idyllic Seminyak Beach to watch the sun set while sipping on a cocktail in one of the beach-side bars.
Seminyak Square is open from mid-morning until late at night, but the opening hours of the individual shops vary. If you need to ship your bigger purchases home, there are shipping services available not far from the shopping complex.
Seminyak Square is a 30-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, which is not far from the capital of Bali, Denpasar. It is also only 15 minutes by car from the popular Balinese tourist destination of Kuta. The shopping complex has a free car park.
