“We spent four nights at the hotel before staying at a large, expensive all-inclusive resort. After the all-inclusive, we came back to Double A, which we preferred. We enjoyed the personal service, being steps from the beach and the swimming pool that was shaded by beautiful flowering trees. The breakfasts which were included were excellent. “The Mora Zanzibar is an excellent hotel. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of small issues. First the room cleaning service was mediocre. The additional services are pricey. The staff at the Horizon was amazing which made the stay that more enjoyable. They offer a variety of restaurants but you need to book through the app prior to arriving others you may be out of luck. Overall great stay and I would recommend to family and friends. ”

“Perhaps there are better rooms, but our room ( nadia) is very noisy throughout our stay. Not just u could hear people shouting and chirldren playing and car horns, but the worst is that there are some sort of aircon machines right outside yr window so u can also hear the engine sound. There are too many more quiet but equally convenient boutique hotels in Stonetown but since we had already paid so we could not change hotel. DONT TRUST THE COMMENTS ANY MORE FROM HOTELS.COM! (P.S. “This boutique hotel was perfect for our one week stay in Zanzibar. It is small, quaint, and manageable. Although the immediate beach is a fishing location, with boats, and therefore not swimmable, there was plenty to do. We enjoyed a snorkeling excursion to a nearby Island. The staff was five star. Each. And. Every. One. ”
