“We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. ”

“I wouldn’t consider this area safe and would not recommend as a honeymoon destination. It was very noisy at night time, constant horning etc. There were insects everywhere, including indoors, lizards, ants, worms etc. Mary was very kind and ensured we had breakfast however, it wasn’t the most pleasant experience due to the location being very noisy and the cleanliness. “Had a room at the very top of the building but good exercise with concrete steps. Room very pleasant. Good AC and kettle/coffee/tea in room. Breakfast included in room price very good. Prices for other meals expensive but lots of options within walking distance. Boutique attached to hotel. “Perhaps there are better rooms, but our room ( nadia) is very noisy throughout our stay. Not just u could hear people shouting and chirldren playing and car horns, but the worst is that there are some sort of aircon machines right outside yr window so u can also hear the engine sound. “We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property! The hotel was very communicative and gave us timely pre-arrival information. It was a prime location next to everything. Specifically, the night market is very close and the ferry port was a fairly easy walk.
